Major traffic arteries in Northeast Arkansas are Interstate 40 (east-west), Interstate 55 (north-south), U.S. Hwy. 70 (east-west), U.S. Hwy. 167/67 (north-south), and U.S. Hwys. 62 and 412 (east-west).
State Scenic Hwys. 5 and 25 are great drives for views of the Ozarks from the foothills to the mountains proper, and popular Arkansas rivers and lakes. Jonesboro and West Memphis are just 77 and 12 miles from the Memphis (Tennessee) International Airport.
