Wildflower Bed & Breakfast on the Square
100 Washington; Court Square, Mountain View

Sign-up now for a weekend of Christmas Music and Shopping. With Mountain View beautifully decorated for Christmas, you can enjoy shopping in our many gift, craft and specialty shops. You may want to attend the Jimmy Driftwood Barn on Friday evening where local musicians maintain cultural music traditions through music and song. There is no admission charge, but donations are accepted.

While enjoying breakfast on Saturday morning, you will be treated to an exclusive personal mountain dulcimer performance by Charlie Mink. Charlie plays all types of music, but his first love is ancient Celtic which forms the roots of so much our our modern music. The intimate Wildflower setting also lends itself to interaction between musician and listener.

On Saturday afternoon, get ready for one of the best musical experiences as you attend "Caroling in the Caverns." This Christmas concert of area musicians performing seasonal carols in the Majestic Cathedral room is a must attend event which sells out each year. Cavern guides escort you into the large Cathedral Room where the incredible sound of area folk musicians rises out of the semi-dark. The combination of music and the acoustically perfect Cathedral Room at Blanchard Caverns is "a natural." One guest described it best, "I was deep in the earth and yet I've never felt closer to Heaven." This "must do" event was rated as #3 in the nation for Christmas attractions by HGTV.
