Wallpaper Instructions

PC
Instructions for setting your Arkansas desktop picture:

  1. Point your mouse at the image above
  2. Click and hold your right mouse button down
  3. From the pop-up menu, choose to "Set as Wallpaper" or "Save as Background"
  4. Your wallpaper is now in place!

MAC OSX

  1. Click on the link to the image of your choice.
  2. Now save the image to your desktop from the prompt.
  3. Open your library folder from your hard drive.
  4. From library open up desktop pictures.
  5. Drag downloaded file to one of already created folders or you can create a folder specifically for State Parks Wallpapers.
  6. Close desktop window.
  7. To activate wallpaper, select your System Preference icon from the dock.
  8. Once inside the System Preference select desktop from your “Personal Menu”.
  9. From the collection dropdown choose folder.
  10. Find the root folder with your wall paper design and select choose.

MAC OS9

  1. Click on the link to the image of your choice.
  2. Now save the image to your desktop from the prompt.
  3. Open the "Appearance" Control Panel.
  4. Select the "Desktop" tab.
  5. Drag the image on top of the Control Panel.
  6. Click the "Set Desktop" button, and your wallpaper is now in place.

MAC OS8 and earlier

  1. Click on the link to the image of your choice.
  2. Now save the image to your Sample Desktop Pictures folder (located in the Apple Extras folder).
  3. Use the Desktop Picture Control Panel (located in the Apple Control Paner folder) to select and activate the wallpaper image just downloaded.
  4. Click the "Picture" button and then click the "Add Picture/Remove Picture" button to make a selection (pick the image you just downloaded.)
  5. Click the "Set Desktop" button and you're done!
