The Ethnic Minority Memorabilia Association (EMMA) is a sister organization of the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives or SARA. A private, non-profit organization, EMMA has established a Black History Museum in a historic building in the heart of Historic Washington State Park and features exhibits with text, photos and artifacts on the history of the museum, the growth of slavery in southwest Arkansas, free persons of color in antebellum Washington, important Black figures in the Civil War and Reconstruction as well as memorabilia from the 20th century Black community.
