Parkin Archeological State Park
Parkin, AR 72373
Quilting is a tradition that has been passed down for generations and makes up the fabric of American history. Quilts have a special significance in African American history in that they were actually used as code in the Underground Railroad. Join us for a special program about this amazing story and learn the basics of quilting as well! A session in the morning will be geared towards children aged 5 and up; the afternoon session will cater to adults.
