St. Francis River Day

4/27/2013 - 4/27/2013
P.O. Box 1110
Parkin, AR  72373

Celebrate Earth Month by learning about the most important natural resource in the Parkin area: the river! The St. Francis River is the reason Native Americans settled in Parkin hundreds of years ago and is also the reason the Northern Ohio Lumber Mill and Cooperage located itself here one hundred years ago. Come celebrate the river and its bounty by learning about all of the different ways the river has been the lifeblood of the community for centuries.
