Join a park interpreter on a guided trail hike to learn about plants that have medicinal uses and can be found in the Gulf Coastal region of Arkansas. You will learn common and scientific plant names, identifying characteristics, and the historic medicinal uses of plants found along the trails at Logoly State Park. The recommended minimum age is 12 years old without parents. Workshop size is limited to 12 participants. Workshop participants receive handouts and a copy of Peterson's Field Guide to Medicinal Plants of Eastern North America. Pre-registration is required.
