Arkansas is thriving with southern music, art centers, independent film festivals and cultural expression.

Art centers, museums and galleries in Eureka Springs and throughout the state display works of both the masters and up-and-coming artists. Located in the scenic Ozark Mountains, Mountain View is the “Folk Music Capital of the World" where visitors can enjoy authentic southern music traditions. The nighttime verve of the River Market District in Little Rock and Dickson Street in Fayetteville make them prime nightlife spots to take in trendy restaurants and to enjoy live southern music from hard rock and jazz to country and the blues.

Performances by Broadway touring companies frequently pass through our cities, and the state is host to several successful independent film festivals, including the world-class Hot Springs documentary film festival. For classical music buffs, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performs year-round, and if the blues are your thing, Helena in the historic Arkansas Delta serves as the backdrop for the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival.
