Twenty-eight Arkansas State Parks provide campgrounds. Campsite choices range from
primitive hike-in tent sites to those with modern conveniences including
water, electrical and sewer hookups. Located throughout the state, the parks showcase the diversity of Arkansas's geography.
Reservations can be made in person or by telephone for some
campsites within each State Park campground. A nonrefundable reservation fee is required
to confirm campsite reservation. All other campsites are available on a first-come basis.
A nightly fee is charged per site. It is necessary to register at the park visitor center
before occupying campsite.
Arkansas State Parks offer over 22,000 programs, tours and events for the enjoyment of park visitors. While the State
Parks are open year-round, some facilities close seasonally. Please check with the
individual parks for details. Unless demand dictates, bathhouses are closed
December-February.
