These Arkansas national parks are perfect for outdoorsy travelers
The National Park Service administers seven areas within The Natural State. Arkansas's National Parks include:
Hot Springs National Park, Buffalo National River, Pea Ridge National Military Park, Fort
Smith National Historic Site, Central High National Historic Site, Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site and Arkansas Post National Memorial. All of these national parks in Arkansas are of interest to
the vacationer, historian, or nature enthusiast, and each offers its own uniquely significant
recreation and attractions to explore. However, only the first two places mentioned, Hot Springs and Buffalo River,
presently provide national park service camping facilities for the visitor.
