Bull Shoals-White River State Park
Thirty Arkansas State Parks provide campgrounds. When camping in state parks, your choices range from primitive hike-in tent sites to those with modern conveniences including water, electrical and sewer hookups. Located throughout the state, the parks showcase the diversity of Arkansas plant life and geography. Reservations can be made in person or by telephone for some campsites within each Arkansas State Parks camping area. A nonrefundable reservation fee is required to confirm campsite reservation. All other Arkansas State Parks camping areas are available on a first-come basis. A nightly fee is charged per site. It is necessary to register at the park visitor center before camping in state parks.
Arkansas State Parks offer over 22,000 programs, tours and events for park visitors. While the State
Parks are open year-round, some facilities close seasonally. Please check with the
individual parks for details. Unless demand dictates, bathhouses are closed
