Camping (including one RV rental), picnic sites; pavilion, self-guided walking trail, bicycle trail; one of the state's hottest bass fishing lakes. Pets must be leashed at all times. Marina: fishing boats, canoes, pedal boats, kayak and boat slip rentals available; souvenirs, gift items, groceries, bait, gas.

Millwood State Park (G-2)

  • Location:

    From I-30 at Texarkana go 19 miles north on U.S. 71, then 9 miles east on Hwy. 32. (Ashdown, AR 71822)
  • Attractions:

    This park is on 29,260-acre Millwood Lake where fishing for bass, crappie and catfish is excellent. Bald eagles and a variety of waterfowl and shore birds are year-round residents of Millwood Lake.

    Restrooms, hot showers, dump station, picnic sites, pavilion, hiking trails, marina, store, playgrounds.
