Harbor Oaks Golf Course, Pine Bluff
Bring Your Woods To The Timberlands
Fifty million years ago, an ocean covered the south central and
southwest portions of what is now Arkansas. When the waters receded,
they left the West Gulf Coastal Plain--a part of the state that
generally covers what we now call the Timberlands region. This gently
undulating land has deep, wide rivers, pine and hardwood forests, and
contours perfectly suited to the game of golf.

At Pine Bluff, Harbor Oaks Golf Course features bent grass
greens, Tifton fairways and a par 72 layout with several of its 18 holes
overlooking the Arkansas River. Pine Bluff's Rosswood Country Club and
the Pine Bluff Country Club courses are also popular.
To the west in the Timberlands, the Texarkana Country Club par 72
course is treasured for its traditional layout, clubhouse and aesthetic
beauty. The 18th hole, a 440-yard par 4, is one of the course's most
challenging holes.
