Three for the Road (1987)

This “road trip” comedy features a very young Charlie Sheen and, at the time, the up-and-coming star Kerri Green. She had previously appeared in “Lucas” and “Goonies” but basically dropped from sight after this movie. It’s the store of a young political worker (Paul) transporting a U.S. Senator’s daughter (Robin) to an institution for girls. As the trip progresses, Paul begins to believe Robin’s stories of her father’s abuse. The excursion and what happens along the way plot the rest of the movie.

The interstate locations were filmed in Little Rock along I-630, with a shot of the Arkansas State Capitol standing in for the U.S. Capitol, plus a driving scene in downtown Hot Springs along Ouachita Avenue.
