Get Directions Calculate Trip

Brock Creek Lakes, in extreme southwest Van Buren (between Clinton and Russellville), are within the Ozark National Forest. The lakes, built decades ago by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as part of a watershed plan, offer excellent scenery and solitude, primitive camping, and boat ramps.

Fishing: Both the upper and lower lakes (approximately ten acres each) are stocked periodically with bass, channel catfish and bluegill. Travel Forest Road 1305 (gravel) north from the Jerusalem community for five miles, turn right on FS Road 1309 for .1 mile, the left on FS Road 133 for one mile. Call the local ranger station at (479) 284-3150.
