Walking in a Winter Wonderland
More than 60 communities join in the fun as Arkansas transforms into a winter wonderland beginning the week of Thanksgiving, all through the Christmas season and into the New Year. Cities and towns across The Natural State host official lighting ceremonies, parades, pageants and more.
This year, our Holiday Hog needs a name! He will be visiting several sites on the Trail of Holiday Lights, serving as parade grand marshal and posing for photos, but we need your help in naming him. Post your suggestions for our friendly, festive mascot's name at Facebook.com/ArkansasStateTourism and on Instagram (@arkansas) with the hashtag #NameARHog . Sign on to Arkansas.com for more information.
While visiting family and friends this season, make a side trip to a cozy cabin or historic hotel to recharge after the busy holiday. Book a winter vacation, and score deep discounts at resorts and hotels across the state.
