Yes, it was an older motel, and yes, the rooms are somewhat small, but for a vogue, by-gone era motel, its a great little place. It was clean and covenant overnight lodging for a very reasonable price, you can’t beat it! The Motor Lodge was indeed VERY helpful and friendly. Having back concerns, I found the bed excellent and slept very well. The room and bathroom were cleaner than some larger chain motels I've been in. Being somewhat close to 63 hwy traffic noise was not an issue. Having seen programs about the alarming infestation of bed-bugs, I ALWAYS check the rooms I stay in too. Happily, none were found. They additionally do serve a continental style breakfast. We go to Hardy quite often to wonder around, great little town, and would recommend the Frontier Motor Lodge to all who visit. They are a GREAT bunch of people!!
