New Holiday Tree Delights Record-breaking Crowds at
Garvan Woodland GardensHOT SPRINGS, AR- The new centerpiece of Garvan Woodland Gardens’ popular Holiday display opened to record-breaking crowds during the first week of 2012 Holiday Lights, running from November 17 through December 31. The animated, 50-foot tall tree is sponsored by Schueck Steel/Lexicon Management Group, Inc., Tom Schueck, C.E.O. Lexicon is the steel supplier for the tree, which is built using 28,000 feet (over five miles) of linear steel. There are 100,000 lights on the 18 ft. diameter tree, decorated with over 600 feet of red and white garland and topped with a custom designed and built 12 ft. wide “rose” topper. The tree has 320 animated channels and stands in the center of the Rose Garden amphitheater, encirled by more lighted trees, lighted toys, and an animated display of Santa, reindeer and sleigh, elves and the elf house. The display features several programs of animation all choreographed and set to a variety of traditional, Celtic, and fun holiday tunes. The Holiday Tree has its own viewing plaza within the Gardens and can also be viewable from Lake Hamilton. Add this new feature to 2 million sparkling lights illuminating 17 acres of sculpted gardens, and you have the most anticipated Holiday lights display in the state of Arkansas!
