One of rock ‘n’ roll’s most iconic bands added to AMP line-up
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (July 22, 2013) – The Arkansas Music Pavilion
(AMP) is excited to announce The Black Crowes
at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:30pm. Gates open at 6pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10am and range from $32 to $47 (with limited premium seating at $77). Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 479.443.5600 or visiting www.amptickets.com

The Black Crowes are an American rock band formed in 1989 around brothers Chris Robinson (lead vocals and guitar) and Rich Robinson (lead guitar). The band has released nine studio albums, four live albums, and have produced several charting singles, including “Hard to Handle,” “She Talks to Angels,”
“Jealous Again," “Remedy,
” “A Conspiracy”
and many more. The Black Crowes have opened for various rock acts such as Heart, Robert Plant, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Dave Matthews Band, the Grateful Dead, Aerosmith and ZZ Top, and performed live with Jimmy Page and Oasis, among others. All told, they have sold over 20 million albums and are known as one of rock's best live acts ever.

The Arkansas Music Pavilion – known locally as the AMP – is Northwest Arkansas’ premiere outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past nine years, including the best of every genre – from rock and country to electronica and pop. The AMP has been a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011. After presenting concerts at the Northwest Arkansas Mall, the AMP has moved to a new location at the Washington County Fairgrounds where all 2013 concerts will be presented, under the stars.
