Altheimer
Altheimer is located around 15 miles from Pine Bluff, 15 miles from Stuttgart; which is known as the duck and rice capital of the world; and around 50 miles from Little Rock. Altheimer is home to historic plantation houses such as The Elms.
Huge pecan trees line the drive to this English-Louisiana, raised cottage-style lodge built in 1886 and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property is now used as a hunting lodge and offers guided waterfowl hunts.
