British Car Week!
If you are into British cars, or are curious to find out more about them, it is a good time to be in Arkansas! British Car Week starts today in Hot Springs Village and continues through June 2.

British Car Week is a week each year when British car owners are encouraged to get out, drive their cars, promote the collector car hobby and bring awareness to the public about British cars.
The national meet is an official sanctioned event as part of British Car Week. The 4-day event, located in Hot Springs Village, will host competitions, mass drives, seminars and celebrations (reservations required). The public is invited to attend the competitive car and motorcycle meet ( called The Crown Jewel Car and Bike Show) on Saturday, June 1 (free admission). It will be at the Ponce de Leon Center, 300 Ponce de Leon Dr. in Hot Springs Village.
For music fans, there will be a live performance by a Beatles tribute band called Liverpool Legends as part of the meet. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (May 30) at the Ponce de Leon Center-Woodlands Auditorium. Reserved seating tickets are $25
For those wanting to catch a glimpse of the cars on the road, there will be many opportunities over the course of the event when the British Car Week participants go on mass drives. These include drives to Petit Jean Mountain ( including a tour of the Museum of Automobiles atop Petit Jean Mountain) , DeGray Lake Resort State Park and Hot Springs National Park.
The cars will be at Petit Jean Mountain tomorrow (May 30) ( Mass Drive Ride #1) and also at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs ( Mass Drive Ride #2). On Friday they will be driving to DeGray Lake Resort State Park.
