Celebrate railroad heritage at the Festival on the Rails in McNeil!
Looking for a festival to head to this spring? If so, you can head to the annual Festival on the Rails in McNeil.
The event, which takes place each April, is a nod to the railroad heritage of the town. Railroads played a large role in the formation of the city and the festival takes place downtown near the railroad tracks.
At the event there is music and food all day and also train rides, various vendors, a car show, kids activities and more.
While in town you can also check out Logoly State Park, which holds title as being the first environmental education state park in the state. An onsite visitor center has exhibits where you can learn about the 368 acre- park.
