Christmas and Candlelight at Historic Washington State Park
A chance to enjoy the Christmas season in a historic setting takes place every year at Christmas and Candlelight at Historic Washington State Park in Washington, Arkansas. During the event, visitors get a chance to enjoy thousands of luminaries, listen to choir music, and tour homes adorned in 19th century style decorations including natural handmade wreaths.
Visitors can stroll the boardwalk streets or take a ride on a horse drawn surrey. Historic Washington State Park, a restoration village preserving one of Arkansas’s most prominent 19th-Century towns, is located on US 278 nine miles north of Hope and can be reached by taking Exit 30 off Interstate 30.
