Festive Fun at Bryant’s Fall Fest
Some creative boat-building skills are going to be on display during the Duct Tape Boat Race, a part of Bryant’s 27th annual Fall Fest, Sept. 27. The vessels can only be made from duct tape and PVC pipe. See how many “go down with the ship” and those who remain “sea worthy.” The winner of the competition receives a kayak and homemade trophy.
Kick off your day with the pancake breakfast and parade. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you and your family can visit craft and business booths, watch the wacky watery escapades of the boat race, and enjoy entertainment.
The KidZland area has bubble blowing, a baby crawl, hula hoop competition, bounce houses, slides and water inflatable fun.
You can try your luck in the fishing derby, find your artistic side using chalk, and check out the entrees in the Pumpkin Bling contest. A wide variety of festival food satisfies everyone’s hunger. All the fun takes place at Bishop Park, 6401 Boone Road.
