Head for the Water Park!
It’s hot…the kids are probably bored…and the first day of school is right around the corner! Now’s a great time to head to the water park! One option is the Paragould Community Center and Water Park in Paragould. The park features a great variety of slides, fun water features, cooling water “spouts” and a 12-foot diving pool. This is a spectacular way to cool off during the heat of the summer. The water park is open Monday through Saturday from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for those 14 and under. The park is also available to rent for private parties at night. The Paragould Community Center and Water Park is located at 3404 Linwood Dr.
A recent addition for summertime fun is Crenshaw Springs Water Park in White Hall. The park features two large flume slides, a lazy river, a toddler splash are and slide, a zero-depth entry area, diving boards and a rock-climbing wall, as well as a restaurant. The facility is open daily from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission prices are $10 for ages 13 and up, $8 for those 9-12, $6 for youngsters ages 4-8, and those 3 and under get in free. A 10-visit pass is available for $75 and family passes are also available. Crenshaw Springs Water Park is located at 9801 Dollarway Rd. in White Hall.
