Historic Showdown

See a historic reenactment in El Dorado during Showdown at Sunset on August 23. The performance, which starts at 6 p.m. Downtown on the steps of the Union Country Courthouse, is a summer tradition and only three shows are performed each season. This will be the last show of the summer season.

During the show, local actors recreate a famous gunfight that took place in 1902 between Marshal Guy Tucker and the Parnell Brothers. Right after the performance, the entertainment continues with live music at the Union Square care of the Showtime Concert Series. On the program that night is country musician  Logan Mize.
