Holiday Train Party at Queen Wilhelmina State Park
Have you ridden the miniature train at Queen Wilhelmina State Park in Mena? This weekend offers a festive time to do so. The miniature train is known as the Glory Train and runs along two miles of track around the park grounds.

The Mountain Glory Station is located near the park entrance and will be the scene of a Christmas Party this Saturday December 12. Santa will be on-site to serve as train conductor during the event, which takes place from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. During the party, train rides will be $4, ice cream cones $1 and hand crafted items will also be for sale. Live music and Christmas carols performed by Mike Lokey and Allison Waggoner starts at 2 p.m.
Queen Wilhelmina State Park is located atop Rich Mountain, Arkansas’s second highest mountain. The park’s lodge recently reopened following a major renovation. For more details on the park, visit queenwilhelmina.com or call 479-394-2863. The station also has a Facebook page, which is located here.
