Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally this Weekend!
The Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally, the largest motorcycle rally held annually in central Arkansas, is this weekend (Sept. 4-6)! The lineup includes indoor vendors at the Hot Springs Convention Center, poker runs, a bike show, a parade through downtown Hot Springs and more. Music is a big part of the rally: Friday evening’s concert ( all concerts are at Summit Arena) will be The Eliminator Band, a ZZ Top tribute band. Saturday night is country star and Grammy nominated Trace Adkins. The singer, who used to work as an oil-rigger, has also had movie cameos to his name including roles in The Lincoln Lawyer, (where he played a biker!) and the comedy Moms’ Night Out ( released this year), where he plays a tattoo artist (and biker!) Below is a quick clip about his recent role.
On Saturday, keep your eyes out for Antique Motorcycles in the Park at Hill Wheatley Plaza. The event (by the Diamond Chapter of Arkansas, Antique Motorcycle Club of America) is free and open to the public and will be a chance to see vintage motorcycles on display.
