Hot Springs showcased on upcoming Major League Fishing show

Hot Springs and the prime fishing that can be found there will be featured on the upcoming Major League Fishing show on the Outdoor Channel. The lakes featured on the show are Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouachita. The first episode is scheduled for January 6 and the others will air over the following weeks until the final episode. The shows will air each Saturday between January 6 and February 10 and will be rebroadcast on Sundays. Major League Fishing is the top-rated show on the Outdoor Channel.

The concept of the show, which is to take fans along for the ride during a professional bass tournament, was developed a few years ago through a joint effort between the Outdoor Channel and professional bass fishing anglers. The show takes fans inside competitor boats for an up-close view of how a pro tournament is run. Each episode is two hours and pro anglers are filmed over the course of a six-day tournament.

The premiere episode will be celebrated in Hot Springs with a free watch party at the newly opened Bubba Brews on Lake Hamilton, located at 1252 Airport Road. The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. and prizes will be given away there including five signed jerseys. For more details on the show, visit here.
