A favorite event in Pine Bluff, the Harbor City Festival and Cook-Off, returns to Saracen Landing on Saturday, April 27. Teams of cooks will compete in the gumbo competition or the catfish cook-off…or both.
The Kids’ Zone offers a variety of activities for youngsters, including inflatables, arts and crafts, the National Guard football/basketball toss, games, balloons, the Arkansas Game and Fish aquarium, and the Pine Bluff Fire Department Smoke House.
Live entertainment features Ear Candy, Legoria Payton & Friends, Brian Austin Blues Band, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Jazz Ensemble, and Saints of Yesterday.
Gates open at 10:00 a.m. The live entertainment begins at noon. Admission for the event is $5 for adults and children 12 and under is admitted free. The adult admission fee includes one book of “Bayou Bucks,” which are good for drink and taste samples during the event.
