Jen Ripple is Straight Outta Cotter this Saturday
Jen Ripple, founder of DUN Magazine, will be hosted by Straight Outta Cotter guide service this Saturday, Feb. 24 to discuss “The History of Women in Fly Fishing.” The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Commercial Lodge, located at 110 McLean Ave. in Cotter.
Nathan Buck from Warrior Café will provide his renowned smoked ribs for the gathering. While the event is free, donations are appreciated and will go directly to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
Ripple is the founder and editor-in-chief of DUN Magazine, a beautifully done and well-crafted lifestyle publication about the female fly anglers. It’s created by women, for women. The publication first started as a digital-only entity. Readers of the online version often asked where they could buy the magazine, so Ripple added a print component.

Gearing it toward women without excluding the male reader, Ripple hopes to empower females who are interested in the sport or already ensconced in it by providing a voice for all women anglers.
