Lineup announced for 32nd King Biscuit Blues Festival in historic Helena

One of Arkansas’s most iconic events, the King Biscuit Blues Festival, takes place on Oct. 5-7 this year, and the complete lineup of performers has been announced. The legendary three-day event welcomes music lovers from across the globe annually with the promise of food, fun, and fantastic music, along the Mighty Mississippi in historic Helena.

This year’s headliners are Tab Benoit, J.J. Grey and Mofro, and Gov’t Mule.

Thursday, Oct. 5, includes performances by Mississippi Bigfoot, Arkansas native and Rockabilly Hall of Famer Sonny Burgess, Sterling Billingsley, Chris O’Leary (formerly with Arkansas Delta native son Levon Helm’s band, The Barnburners), Rodney Block, Joe Louis Walker, and headliner Tab Benoit.

Performers on the Main Stage on Friday, Oct. 6, are Dylan Bishop, Tracy Nelson, Reba Russell, Nikki Hill, Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets, Paul Thorn, and headliners J.J. Grey and Mofro. Friday of King Biscuit also includes music from the Lockwood-Stackhouse stage, with performances by Mississippi Spoonman, the Akeem Kemp Band, Leo “Bud” Welch, the C.W. Gatlin Band, Wampus Cats, Veronika Jackson, Big George Brock & His Houserockers, and the James “Taildragger” Jones Band.

On Saturday, Oct. 7, Main Stage acts include Marcus Cartwright, Kenny Smith, Bob Stroger & Bob Margolin, Jack Pearson, Bruce Katz, Andy T. & Alabama Mike, Larry McCray, and headliners Gov’t Mule. Performers on the Lockwood-Statehouse stage are the DuWayne Burnside Band, the Rev. John Wilkins Band, Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, Libby Rae Watson, and Deak Harp.
