The former home of the Clintons will offer free admission all day Saturday and Monday. Refreshments will include a barbeque lunch and birthday cake from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Plus, you get to enjoy Clinton’s favorite snacks: Moon Pies, peanuts, and RC Cola. The public is encouraged to stop by and sign Bill’s birthday card and share favorite President Clinton stories.

The Clinton House Museum is a one-bedroom, 1,800-square-foot house in Fayetteville. Unassuming among the other homes that surround it, this home has a special place in history. Not only did a future United States President and Secretary of State call this their first home, they were married right in the living room. Bill Clinton took Hillary Rodham’s hand in marriage in October of 1975, 17 years before he would be elected President.

Now a museum, here you can witness rarely seen memorabilia of Clinton’s early political career, including his campaigns for US House of Representatives and Arkansas Attorney General. You can also study some of Clinton’s earliest political speeches, view a faithful replica of Hillary’s wedding dress, and follow a timeline to put their Fayetteville years in perspective. In the Gift Shop you’ll discover books, mementos, and more for a keepsake of your trip and be just steps away from the University of Arkansas campus where the Clinton’s taught at the Law School.
