Outdoor Women Learning Skills program offered at Lake Dardanelle State Park

Join the Lake Dardanelle State Park staff for a new program series, Outdoor Women Learning Skills (O.W.L.S.) designed to give women the skills and knowledge needed to enjoy nature and the available recreation at Lake Dardanelle.
The series takes place one evening a month for six months. Some of the topics covered include hiking, kayaking, Dutch oven cooking, fishing, and learning about things you may encounter in nature. The first workshop of the series will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Dec. 16 at the park visitor center. Admission is $20.
The remaining dates and topics for the series include:
Jan. 20 – Stars & Nature at Night
Feb. 17 – Fire building & Dutch oven cooking
March 10 – Knot tying & Fishing
April 14 – Birding & Hiking
May 12 – Kayaking & SUP
