Halloween is just around the corner! Our friends at Village Creek State Park and the Cross County Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring Trick or Treat at Village Creek in Wynne on Saturday, Oct. 25. Businesses throughout the area decorate a campsite and hand out candy to the kids.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. The park’s Camp Area A is the site for the festivities, which include trick-or-treating, fun interpretive programs, and storytelling around a roaring campfire.

New this year is the Community Pumpkin Contest. During the event, the pumpkins will be displayed along the pathways at the campground.
