Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival in Hot Springs

The 12th annual Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival takes place March 18-22 in Hot Springs. The festival is known as the only underground music festival in the state and is home to a wide mix of innovative live music performances that take throughout the event.

The week long music festival piggybacks on the dates of SXSW (the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas) each March.

This year’s lineup includes performances by musicians from around the nation and world including Juiceboxxx, Grandchildren, Water Liars, Peelander Z, Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe and more. Around 35 bands will be performing at the festival and the full lineup can be found here.

The event is produced by Low Key Arts, which is a nonprofit community arts organization. Shows are held at multiple venues throughout Hot Springs, with the main venue being at the Low Key Arts building at 118 Arbor Street. Regular passes are $85 and $125 for a VIP pass. Daily passes are also available for $10 each. For more details on the festival, visit
