Wakarusa 2014
If you like music, there’s really no other place to be June 5-8 but the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival on Mulberry Mountain in northwest Arkansas.
Who’s playing? The list is long. We’re talking four days, six stages, more than 150 acts and nearly 200 sets of music here. To name a few – The String Cheese Incident, BASSNECTAR, The Flaming Lips, STS9, Umphrey’s McGee, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Michael Franti & Spearhead, John Butler Trio, Infected Mushroom, FUNGUNSAMONGUS, Adventure Club, Rusko, Dr. Dog, Lettuce, Xavier Rudd, Walk Off The Earth, and Wookiefoot. There are general admission, and VIP passes, plus camping and VIP camping passes. Decide if you’re going overnight, for how many days, or just one day to catch certain artists, then just hit the website to see what you need.
There are tons of extras happening at Wakarusa, including costume parades, yoga, hoop workshops, costume theme days, music workshops, a Ferris wheel, art installations, vendors for food and merchandise, floating the Mulberry River, and more.
