I have loved the distinctive voice of Willie Nelson for as long as I can remember. His beautiful storytelling set to music is embedded in my heart and brain with songs such as “Crazy,”  “Always On My Mind,” “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys,” “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain,” and “On The Road Again.”

Nelson is an iconic singer-songwriter that has had an unparalleled six-decade-long career. He rose to prominence at the end of the 1960s and spearheaded the “outlaw country” subgenre, which challenged the conservatism of Nashville. During his extensive career, Nelson has written more than 2,500 songs and has released nearly 300 albums. He has won multiple awards, including countless Grammy Awards®, American Music Awards® and Country Music Awards®. Nelson is recognized worldwide as a true American troubadour and icon who continues to transcend musical genres and remains relevant through his music, acting and social activism.
