Turtles of Millwood Lake

Have you ever taken a boat out on Millwood Lake? If you have, chances are that you have seen dozens of turtles sunning on logs and swimming around in the lake. Join a park interpreter to learn more about these aquatic reptiles. Before you leave, we’ll make a turtle for you to take home with you. Meet at the pavilion across from the marina. If the pavilion is occupied, meet at the day use area across from campground A.
