What to know

Independent Craft Beer in a National Park

Superior Bathhouse Brewery is an independent craft brewery and farm-to-table restaurant offering up 18-unique craft beers and simple but fresh lunch and dinner fare. Located in a 104-year-old former bathhouse on historic Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park, Superior is the only brewery in a US National Park and the only brewery in the world to brew with 100% natural thermal spring water. Visitors will be able to see the on-site brewery and enjoy scenic views of the famous Arlington Hotel, Hot Springs National Park, and downtown Hot Springs!

History of Superior Baths

The Superior was built in 1916, when Hot Springs, Arkansas, was a bustling city of men in top hats and women with parasols, waiting for their turn to bathe in thermal spring water. The seemingly magical hot water was piped out at 144 degrees into the row of bathhouses down Central Avenue. Superior Bathhouse was the “People’s Bathhouse” and is the smallest of all the bathhouses.
