What to know
For an absolutely wonderful alternative to crowded hotels make plans to have an entire cabin to yourself and your family. Our properties are located on a secluded 50 acre area nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita National Forest and is only 18 minutes from Arkansas' most famous attractions in Hot Springs National Park and only 8 miles from DeGray Lake State Park. At Lone Cedar Cabins we offer cozy lodging accommodations in the great outdoors where roughing it means relaxing in front of the fireplace, watching the wildlife from our covered porch and snuggling into a queen sized bed for a good nights sleep. Both cabins have gas log fireplaces, tall ceilings with complete kitchens including all the fixin's for coffee and tea. Our Lone Cedar Cabin has a jetted tub for those special occasions. We also offer accommodations in a vintage 1957 camp trailer! This retro RV has everything you need in one small package.
At Lone Cedar Cabins we offer the convenience of Wifi, a necessity we really don’t like! But instead we wish for you to unplug and disconnect from technology. Reconnect with nature and your families/friends again if only for a weekend!
One of the advantages of our lodgings is the “automatic distancing” that our cabins naturally provide. Extra precautions have been taken to clean and sanitize all of our cabin rentals after every guest. Our lodgings are secluded with beautiful views and family friendly, but not pet friendly.
Just outside your front door enjoy a lively game of horseshoes while your delicious barbecue is grilling. Your outdoor shower is a must! Walk to the catfish pond and you might catch tonight’s supper. While you’re there, have fun on our old school swing set! Another adventure is our hiking trail, which goes to the top of our mountain. At about 1000’ elevation it has an impressive view. Hiking sticks are provided. You’ll see our crystal clear spring that runs year-round. Look out for Big Foot!
it is our hope that our passion for detail is evident in the building and decoration of our cabins. We have personally torn down old homes and barns. Each reclaimed piece is used with care and thoughtful placement. The landscape that surrounds is is our inspiration. The peaceful valley with its endless trees set our minds at ease and is the perfect medicine even on the most stressful of days.
