An “Eggs”citing Weekend Ahead!

“Hippity, hoppity, Easter’s on its way!” Here are some great activities this weekend, all centered around Easter egg hunts and the Easter Bunny himself!

Lake Chicot State Park in Lake Village welcomes the Easter Bunny on April 23 for the park’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Starting at 2 p.m., the event features three age categories, lots of candy-filled eggs, and prize eggs. For more information, contact the park at 870-265-5480.
Grab the kids and their baskets and head to Helena-West HelenaDelta Heritage Trail State Park hosts the 6th annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 23. Weather permitting, the fun starts at 10 a.m.   Children 12 and under will be allowed to hunt the colorful orbs. For questions, contact Delta Heritage Trail State Park at 870-572-2352.
The Easter Bunny, lots of hidden eggs, candy and prizes are what you’ll find at Jacksonport State Park’s Easter Egg Hunt on April 23 in Newport. Pose for photos with the head bunny himself. It’s that time of year! Time to toss some eggs at Cane Creek State Park’s Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Toss on April 23 in Star City. Kids under 12 will hunt the park grounds for candy-filled eggs. Children and adults of all ages are invited to participate in the team egg toss. Don’t forget to bring the camera and get photos taken with the Easter Bunny himself. Call 870-628-4714 to learn more.

The city of Caraway hosts the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 23. The event starts at 1 p.m. at the Caraway City Park. Spend the afternoon with the kids as they search for brightly colored eggs and compete for a variety of prizes. Phone 870-482-3716 for more information.

Village Creek State Park in Wynne hosts an Easter Egg Extravaganza on April 24. Youngsters will search the landscape for brightly colored eggs. The event is also an opportunity to collect donations and supplies for the Wynne Friends of Animals, such as cat litter, paper towels, cleaning supplies, pet toys and antibacterial soap.
