Argenta Foodie Festival Takes Place Saturday

Hey fresh food lovers! Wrap-up the month of June this Saturday (30th) at the Argenta Summer Foodie Festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s a great place to sample the best of locally grown produce plus the offers from area restaurants. If you’re on the south side of the river, just hop aboard the River Rail Trolley and ride over in air-conditioned style.

Participating restaurants and/or chefs include Argenta MarketBoulevard Bread Co., Twenty One (formerly Ferneau),  Hunka Pie, Starving Artist Café, Forty Two, Mark Abernathy, Christina L, and Lulav.
In addition to all the great food, there’ll be live entertainment provided by Fire & Brimstone and Steve Bates and arts and crafts. It all takes place at 600 Main Street, next door to the Argenta Farmers Market in downtown North Little Rock.

According to organizers, “The purpose of the Argenta Foodie Festival is to connect people to fresh, healthy, seasonal food and the farmers who grow it. Another reason is to promote local restaurants, chefs and catering services that support local farmers and understand the importance of creating a sustainable local economy and a strong connection between farm and table.”

While you’re in the area, check out some of the great art galleries that comprise the Argenta Arts District.
