Call Center available for Families of Friday Flood

Flash floods swept through the Albert Pike Campground (USDA,
Ouachita National Forest) west of Hot Springs early Friday, killing at
least 20 people with dozens more missing.  Employees from Arkansas State
Parks are assisting Forest Service and Arkansas Department of Emergency
Management personnel in rescue efforts.
Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism extends its deepest sympathies
to those families which have suffered losses.  We remain hopeful that
those missing will be found unharmed.
A call
center for families who are looking for missing loved ones has been set
up at the Department of Information Services in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Families can call 1-888-683-2336 on Saturday and Sunday, between 7:00 am
– 7:00pm.
