Celebrating the Season: A Live Nativity Scene

Kimberly J. Williams
Celebrate the first Christmas this year by reliving the birth of Jesus over 2000 years ago. Join the congregation of the First Christian Church in Marianna for a live nativity scene beginning tonight and running through Thursday evening.
Tours of the live nativity begin at 6:30 p.m. and run through 8 each night. There is no admission charge, although any monetary or food donations collected will be given to the local food bank and Angeletti Animal Acres of Crawfordsville, which donated the use of the live animals for the event. Hot cider and hot cocoa will be served to those in attendance.
Thursday evening tours will also include performances by local choirs.

The church is located at 568 W. Chestnut St. in Marianna. Get in the holiday spirit…by experiencing where it all begain. Merry Christmas!
