Come Home For the Holidays with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra

The holidays are a great time to introduce your children to orchestral music. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is offering a Children’s Fair as part of their Home for the Holidays. The Yuletide concerts are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, December 17-19. Sunday afternoon’s is at 3 p.m.

The Children’s Fair is at 2 p.m. on Sunday when kids can attend the concert on Sunday for free with a paying adult. Kids can touch and play various instruments, visit with Santa, listen to members of the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra, make ornaments and Santa puppets.

Featured special guest performers along with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra include Broadway veteran Lawrence Hamilton; Little Rock Central, Mount St. Mary’s, and Oak Grove High Schools; David and the Divas, Meshugga Klezmer Band, The Two Jewish Guys, Shuffles and Ballet II (Ballet Arkansas), The Cathedral School Choristers, and The Ted Ludwig Trio.

Many of your Christmas and seasonal favorites are featured and you’ll have the opportunity to sing-along on some. Tickets are available online or by calling 501-666-1761 and range in price from $20 to $65. All the festivities take place in Robinson Center Music Hall in downtown Little Rock.
