Get a head start on your Independence Day Weekend in downtown North Little Rock at the Argenta Foodie Fest on Saturday. This event provides one of the most enjoyable ways to sample various Little Rock and North Little Rock restaurants while promoting the use of local fresh produce.
Participating restaurants include Ashley’s at the Capital, Little Rock; Argenta Market, North Little Rock; Boulevard Bread Co., Little Rock; Ferneau, Little Rock; Hunka Pie, Little Rock; Starving Artist Café, North Little Rock, and Union Bistro, Little Rock. Live entertainment is by the Swingshift Band and Fire & Brimstone, and there will be arts and crafts plus shopping at the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market for the finest in locally grown foods.
The Argenta Foodie Festival’s goal is to connect people to fresh, healthy, seasonal food and the farmers who grow it. Another is to promote local restaurants, chefs and catering services that support local farmers and understand the importance of creating a sustainable local economy and a strong connection between farm and table.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the event takes place between 5th and 6th Streets across from the Argenta Market.
