The Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park

in Scott commemorates a milestone with its 20th Anniversary Celebration and Open House  on June 25. The event begins at 10 a.m. with tours of the park structures. Hand-cranked ice cream and Dutch oven-baked cobbler are served at 11 a.m.

Park personnel describe additions to the museum collections, accomplishments and struggles that have occurred during the past 20 years. “Yesterday’s Office,” a new exhibit, describes early 1900s technology with adding machines, typewriters, desks and everyday items used in business at the time.
The museum is located at 4815 Hwy. 161 South. For more information call 501-961-1409. Admission is free.
