Geocaching Friday: A Few of My Favorite Caches…Part Deux!

On Fridays, I’ll share some of my favorite geocaching spots throughout The Natural State. Even if you’re not a cacher, the Friday blogs will feature towns and attractions throughout the eastern section of Arkansas…perfect for a weekend trip!

Happy Friday!!

Today I thought I’d share a few more of my favorite caches. I’ve noticed that quite a few new listings have popped up in Arkansas on, so wherever you are in the state, there may be new caches nearby! You might even get an FTF!

If you’re on U.S. 65 between Conway and Greenbrier, check out Hippy Hill. It’s not a difficult find but it is cleaverly hidden. It’s also at one of the coolest geocaching locations I’ve stumbled upon!

I’m a history buff, so when geocaching takes me to a historical location, I’m just as happy as can be! Helena #2 is located in a beautiful cemetery in Helena-West Helena along the Arkansas section of the Great River Road National Scenic Byway. There’s literally history all around you at the cache location. If you’re in the Helena-West Helena area and haven’t found it, I urge you to…soon! Helena #2 was my 100th find!

Another one of my more memorable caches is Pet Land. It’s located in Marion and before I went in search of the cache, I’d never actually BEEN to one of these! I’d HEARD about them…but never actually seen one! Now you’re intrigued, aren’t you?

I’d like to hear about some of YOUR favorite or most memorable caches in Arkansas! And then I’ll share them on the blog!

I hope you and your families have a wonderful and SAFE holiday weekend!
