The Lower White River Museum State Park in Des Arc is hosting a GPS/Geocaching Workshop on Sept. 11. You’ll learn how to use a GPS to find geocaches, famous landmarks and specific coordinate locations. Participants will also the basics of geocaching.

The cost of the workshop is $3 for adults and $2 for children. Registration is required. To find out more information on the workshop, call the museum at 870-256-3711.

Just a reminder, if you’re in south Arkansas this weekend, Fired Up for Geocaching events are going on Saturday. Check out last week’s blog for more information.
